Life is but a Journey

Sometimes I really can’t understand how can some adults be so irresponsible and insensible. Didn’t their parents train them when they are young as to how to use a toilet properly?

I work in a Children Learning Centre cum Child Care services. We help parents to take care of their children while they do their shopping. In order to make the children feel comfortable with us, we make up the whole centre with kiddy’s friendly things and this includes the children toilets.

We only build toilets for children and the reason why the toilets are small is because we only take in children below 10 years and thus those big “buffaloes” won’t be able to use the toilet. Having said that, some parents (of buffalo size) will use this children toilet when they are having their nature calls. Our staff have notice several times and told the parents that the toilets are only for children but yet they still use.

Can you imagine an elephant sitting on your chair? What will the outcome be?

Yesterday I received a call from my staff at night telling me that they have a good news for me. I thought what good news can it be. So later I found out that our children toilets got stuck with a big piece of defecates.

Since I don’t wanna spoilt you appetite to eat so I put a not so big picture. haha

Here am I thinking, how on earth will a child pass on such a big piece of stool? It must be an adults. We try to flush it down, it won’t go down. We poured water, it still won’t budge. We called the maintenance, they refuse to come saying that they are rushing to switch off the light and go home. (Hmm, this is an emergency case and they can reject us…pfft. Incompetent).

My cleaner came just now and she went and look and she also agreed that it can’t be a child stool. It is definitely an adults. Sigh, tell me la. How? She also told me that not only our toilet got stuck but the toilets in the multipurpose hall also stuck. This is because the last four days, SOGO had a warehouse sale and it was filled with people.

We can educate children but can we educate adult as well. They just need to have a good toilet manners. Thats what everyone is asking for. The public toilet is not for their own use for is for everyone.
