What kind of commitment that we usually encounter?

Commitment to God

Commitment to a relationship

Commitment to family

Commitment to financial obligation

Can we run away from all these commitments? Do we have a choice? A friend of mine once told me that we always have a choice. We can always choose not to commit to anything. So, can we actually choose not to commit into anything? Can we in fact run away from commitment? Are we living by chance or are we living by choice?

We make friends and thus our commitment is to make our friendship works.

We get a well-paid job and hence our commitment is to give the best of us to the company.

Our parents brought us to this world and therefore our commitment is to honor them.

In religion, we were ask to choose to either commit to follow God’s way which leads you to eternity or the worldly way which leads you to destruction.

Whatever we do, it involves commitment.  My mum used to tell me that commitment is a must in life. It helps us to strive towards achievement and also to be a responsible person. Without commitment, our life will be without purpose and direction.

By end of the day, it is YOU who decide whether to say yes or no to commitment.
