Oh no, it can’t be..Not again, not another one!! Enough is enough…what is wrong with these people? Don’t they have a sense of humanity? Argh…..
You must be wondering, why am I so paranoid. Yea, have you heard of the latest rumour and is happening in up-north of Malaysia that petrol station no longer accept credit card as a mean of transaction. How can this happen? Already petrol is so expensive and now they expect people to carry so much cash around. This is insane. I read the news this morning stating that the reason why petrol stations do not want to take credit card or fleet card is because they need to maintain the marginal profit and also due to the high interest charge by the bank for using such facilities. Actually, I should say high interest because the bank charge 1% interest for every litre used i.e petrol kiosk owner will pay 1.9 cent before price hike and now they have to pay 2.7 cents. So that’s why it affect their marginal profit.
I feel that it is irridiculous to stop customers from using credit card because this is the safest means of money we can use without worry getting rob. Imagine, you are driving a 2000cc car and your petrol cost about RM150 or more, this mean that you have to now carry extra RM150 apart from the rest of the cash that you need to use for other places that don’t take credit card. And then, what if you are travelling long distance, and you ran out of cash and out of petrol? ATM all closed, die lor, you have to push your car all the way back home.
Another note, as we know that after the petrol price hike, those people that earn RM2500 and below are consider poor. What they earn is not enough for them to pay their utilities and food. They depend on their credit card to sustain their petrol usage. Now we can’t use credit card anymore, how? How are they going to pump petrol? The money that they set aside for food will eventually use for petrol. How can these people survive. I just find this really irridiculous. Sigh….what a world to live now. Poor getting poorer and rich getting richer.
Those who know me well will know that I’m a contest addict. Will try my ‘luck’ to see whether I will win or not. Saw this contest in Canna’s blog and she asked for help to give her a visa and since I also need to sign up in order to give her the visa, so why not I try out also. Who knows I will stand a chance to win…hehehe..since I help her, why not you help me?? Hehehe
Why?!
Why is it that when I think that things are coming the right way,
it ended up not?
Why is it that when I think people understand that I care for them,
it ended up not?
Why is it that when I have so much to share with a person about something,
the person just doesn’t have the time for me?
Why is it that people have so much to spend for good food and travelling
and yet not contented?
Why is it that I am always put in a position that I don’t desire to be?
Why is it that when people agree to do something
and chicken out last minute?
Why?! Why is the world acting as if it is square?
Sigh……………..
I read a blog lately saying about priority and to certain extent I would agree with what the writer said about how some people put their career/study as an order or priority. I wouldn’t agree or even dare to judge about others for saying that they put God and family first but not reflecting it in their daily life. Who are we to judge these people?
What is your priority? My priority use to be Ministry, God, Friends, Study/Career, Family, Leisure and etc but God hit me hard on my face when I went to the Enrichment Week 2 weeks ago. All these while, I thought I live my order right and little did I know that I weren’t. During one of the session during the praise and worship with Brendan and Cathie, God spoke to me in scripture and I remember so clearly, it was in the Book of John 15:5-7 and at that point of time I knew my priority wasn’t right. I repented and made right with God there and then. At this point, by God’s grace I walking in this row of priority: God, Family, Ministry, Career, Friends, Leisure and etc.
I wouldn’t dare say I’m a perfect creature living on planet earth, but I’m inspire to do God’s work. I felt the burden to impart to the life of the little ones. How they walk their life on earth is what we as parents and teachers impart in them. If we always say that it’s ok for your kids to skip sunday school/children church because of tuition or exam then your child will put study as a priority before God. I’ve seen with my own eyes that children that put God above all else excel in whatever they do because they are practising the scripture: seek first the Kingdom of God and everything will be added unto you. So what kind of priority you want to see in your children life? you determine yourself.
I’m glad that God rebuke me and open up my eyes to see things clearly and I also glad that God chose Pr. Clarine to make history in Children’s work. Truly she’s blessed in order to bless the children workers all around Malaysia and other countries as well. She has since became my source of inspiration
I pray if God’s willing, one day I want to be like her or even better…only God knows what’s best for me!!
ZZZZzzzzzzz…..
Sunday….today is sunday!!
Feel like sleeping day!!
Doozing off in the office….
**YAWN…….**

People skill…it is the most important factor that determine customer support and loyalty towards your business. This one place (don’t wanna mention the name but if you are smart enough you’ll know where I’m talking about) that I know off has the best deal for any branded goods and it use to be the largest mall in Malaysia, but it no longer had such priviledge with the rising of shopping complex conglomerates. They have sales all year long and has the widest variety when comes to branded goods especially for children. Everything about them are just so good except……
Yes, their staff’s people skill. Their frontliners, especially their cashiers had the worst attitude that I’ve ever seen. They don’t smile, they don’t thank their customers. One will say, they are busy thats why sometime they’ll be stress and not smile but hey, you are servicing people, whether you like it or not, you should SMILE!! and not give customer a sour face. Another thing that I notice is that, when other staff went and purchase thing, they will not serve them accordingly. Be it the person is your colleague or not, they are still customers, they deserve a little respect from you. I’m just the kind of person that hate to see people serve others with an unwilling heart. If you find it so difficult to serve others, then don’t work as frontline. That would help.
Another flaws that I notice is that, most of their goods in the supermarket DO NOT HAVE PRICE TAG. So this means that if no price tag, the ITEM IS FREE right? Hmm, I think I should propose to the consumer affairs to enact this rule. It protects customers from being cheated. I find it so hard to decide whether to buy or not and most of the time I ended up buying from Giant Hypermarket. See, how it affect people and causes you to loose a business. Maybe in their mind is that, one or two only wat, won’t affect much but they never heard this before, “sikit-sikit, lama-lama jadi bukit” (accumulation of little can make a mountain – direct translation. :p )
Since, they do not have a website that I can complain to so i just write it here lo. Just want to vent out my frustration only as I patronize their supermarket very often bu soon I won’t need patronize it anymore.
This is really a season of testing for me. One thing after another and it is really testing my faith now. First was the petrol price hike. For this hike, I replanned my overall spending especially on my trip to work, church and meetings. No more driving and take public transport. Thinking this will help me save.
However, the enemy of debt and money really have it’s way towards me. 17th June is my roadtax and insurance due date and for this, I do not know how much I need to pay but for sure at least RM600++. For this I would have forsee it coming and thus I allocated the amount to pay. Yet, things don’t always happen as how you wish it’ll happen. Thus, the next thing I know, 2 of my car tyres burst…pooff…and there gone RM130 for the first tyre and haven’t even change the second one (now running on my spare tyre).
That’s not the worst yet, my car absober spoilt – 1 side front and 1 side back – and usually absober you need to buy in pair and one pair cost you about RM150. I’ve change one pair and put on hold another pair. Next that I realize, my car battery expire and that cost me another RM205. My car timing belt also not in good condition and it’s time to change and that I still haven’t find out how much….sigh!!
Argh………what’s going on?? Where do I find so much cash to pay all the bills…sigh!! One thing after another. What is the purpose of owning a car? Everything is just so expensive to own nowadays and can’t even afford to have a proper meal. Living on maggi mee everyday. Soon…soon…my health gonna be just like my car if my finance still don’t improve. I’m just frustrated that why people can earn so much and not have so much commitment and can go for all types of party, shopping and happy go lucky but yet people like me who earn so little have to go through such testing…………….
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA……………. Lord help ME!!!!!!!!
Let us stop to think a while,
Have you ever wonder why,
God would Love us so….
This is the lyrics for the song, “So let us go” by Ps Clarine Chun and Chee Peng from Superkids church.
I have not been updating my blog as I was away the whole week to attend the Enrichment Week organize by Superkids at HGH Convention Centre. It was indeed very enriching but yet tiring. It was a continuous 12 hours of training with lunch and dinner break in between. Though the training was tiring but it was really amazing and also an eye opener to most of us that went for the first time.
Just some background. I went to the Enrichment Week alone as last minute, my friend said she can’t go cause she can’t get her leave approve..pfft. Going to Sentul alone is like going to another country by itself and it was really scarry as I’m a direction challenge person. So when she told me that, I was hesitating whether to still go or not and I went also in the end. First day itself, I got lost and I literally walk around Sentul to look for the convention centre. I choose to take KTM there because I dare not drive around some foreign town. Yes, SENTUL is foreign to me….everywhere is foreign to me except KLANG!! Hahaha.
The training starts at 9.30am and I reached there at 10.30am. As usual, lousy KTM came late and then stop in Klang station for almost 15 to 20 minutes only they move. By the time I reach Sentul it’s already 10am. I walked and walked and reach the convention centre at 10.30am…phew…sweat profusely. Thank God I didn’t stinks the whole hall…hahaha
When I reached there, they were just starting their opening dance and it was really awesome. I bought their VCD and if you wanna know how awesome it is, come ask me and I’ll show you. After that we had Ps Clarine to share her vision with us on how she started to serve in children ministry and then how she grow and now she’s the founder of Fungates and Sri Nobel. It was really inspiring.
Throughout the week, we learn and catch lots of vision from her. We learn about the importance of children in our lives and knowing that teaching children is the highest calling among any other thing. Teachers determine our future. If we teach them right, our country’s future will be bright and vice versa. I learn not to despise and underestimate the children. They are even better than any adult that I’ve seen. I dance so gracefully, they do sign language, puppetry, tell story with much expression, memorize the whole Psalm, do choral speaking from the book of Psalm and so much more. They are just so passionate and on fire for God. Shame on all of us. Just asking to come once a month for training also we make so much noise. I can really see their commitment towards the things that they do. I can just drop my jaw during the whole impromptu presentation.
There won’t be any Enrichment Week in Malaysia next year because it will be held in Singapore. Woohoo to all Singaporean. I bet you’ll be blessed if you go. TRUST ME!!
That’s was about my week. Now is vent my frustration time……………….
Why must you government hike the petrol price till so much?????/ Why oh why? My car use to consume RM70 the most for full tank and now it’s almost RM100…..argh@@ Dahlah I PK already, now I gonna walk around to beg. sigh!! What a sad sad case… They said that even now our petrol price is RM2.70, we are still the lowest price if compare to other country. COMPARE? My foot…who cares about other country. Other country has very efficient public transport, clean environment, low car insurance rate and roadtax rate and strong currency, good pay rate and etc etc. We? what do we have? what we earn today is not even enough to cover our expenses i.e. utilities, home loan or rent, car loan, children education, food, taxes, insurance, medical bills, petrol and all sudden expenses.
Let’s not talk about other thing, just look at our public transport. How can we Malaysian rely on them to be our means of transportation. Delay always happen, train derail, buses plunge downhill, irresponsible bus driver driving as if they are F1 driver. So would you take this to compare to other country. Sometimes, I’m just so jealous, why Singapore such a small country can be a DEVELOPED country and yet we, triple or even more bigger size than them is still a DEVELOPING COUNTRY. When will we achieve that kind of standard.
Well….that’s basically my frustration and what I’ve learned all these years is that, I born in this country for a reason. I may vent as much as I can here but I believe God has a greater plan for us Malaysian. I pray that God will someday cleanse the entire corrupted government and raise a new government that is God fearing and do what that is pleases God. I know that God is working now. What we need to do now is to submit to our government because anyhow, is still God chosen one, we can deny that and be assure that it is for a reason. Let’s live for today and make it fruitful and pray for a better tomorrow. We do not know what lies ahead but I know God’s plan is a good plan…amen?
Cheers
I think about a couple of months back, I wrote about how incompetence KTMB is and how I hated them for causing me to reach office late. Lately, I’ve been using their mode of transport to work again not because I want to but because I need to as my car is in the workshop.
Just yesterday, again the cancel their train during peak hour and by the time the train reaches Bank Negara, it’ll be jam packed. I boarded the train and squeeze myself towards the end of the train and stand there. As I was heading home, I listen to 2 ladies chatting beside me about KTMB. Finally, I know, it is not only me that got so frustrated when they cancel the trip and there’s other who also agree with my point of view. They were talking about a piece of news publish yesterday (which I do not know which newspaper) about how government going to ensure that all the public transports come on time and not let the user wait.
Both of them were laughing over this piece of news. There were saying, ‘It’ll be good enough not to cancel the trip and not to mention about coming on time.” and another lady said, ‘I think the government should send some spies to all the public transport especially KTMB and see how incompetence they are and how often the cancel the trip.’
I totally agree with their point. It is so dangerous to board the train everytime during peak hour. If you were at KL Central, you should see how people struggle to squeeze into the train just to get home early. If there’s space for them to squeeze in is ok, but the problem is, there’s none. There’s no way they can even put a foot in and here they are trying their luck. Well, I do understand if they don’t board the train now, they have to wait another 20minutes.
I really do hope that the government will do what they said in the newspaper, that they’ll improve the infrastructure – not only the LRT and the BUS but also the Commuter Train.
